Putin sees Russian budget deficit below 1.5%

MOSCOW, Dec 27 (PRIME) – Russia’s budget deficit will most probably be below 1.5%, President Vladimir Putin told the State Council on Wednesday.

"The finance minister has told me today that our deficit was lower than 2%. This is what we were talking about, we said that a 2% deficit would be a nice result. It turns out to be lower. It will most probably be lower than 1.5%," Putin said.
